If you want to try to fix your keyboard problems yourself, you should first find out what type of keyboard your MacBook has installed. In principle, there are two different types of keyboards: Keyboards with scissor action and keyboards with butterfly action. Keyboards with butterfly mechanics are much more prone to errors and unfortunately also more complicated to repair.
Keyboards have very delicate mechanics. You can easily damage them, so you should be very careful not to damage the keyboard. On keyboards with butterfly action, the action under the black key cannot be replaced. Damage to the mechanics means that the entire keyboard has to be replaced. Therefore, we do not recommend repairing these keyboards on your own.
